One address from the IPmap index, every day. Read the clues, then guess which country the address is registered in. Three tries, one puzzle per day, no account needed.
Which country is this address in?
Every day we pick one address from the public addresses covered by IPmap.info and show you four clues: the network that announces it, its address block, its AS number and the city we resolve for it. Countries repeat more often than they look like they should — a large network keeps several address blocks, and cloud providers register blocks wherever it is cheapest.
The answer is the country the network is registered in, which is not always where the address is physically used. That is also why the same geolocation can look wrong to you but be correct in the registry: see the about page for what the data does and does not mean.
Prefer networks to countries? There is a second daily puzzle where you guess which operator announces the address: the daily network puzzle.
Your streak is kept in your browser only — nothing is sent to us, and there is no account. The puzzle uses the same data as the country and network pages.
