IPmap.info is a free IP address lookup and geolocation service, run as an independent project. There is no support desk and no sales team: messages go straight to the person who operates the site.

Before you write

• Wrong location for an IP? IP geolocation is never exact. An address is usually placed at the city or region level of the network that owns it, and VPNs, mobile carriers and corporate proxies routinely appear in a different place than the device using them. Geolocation comes from the free DB-IP database; we cannot correct individual addresses ourselves.
• A specific ad looks wrong or malicious? Ads are served by our advertising partner, Mediavine (Journey). Tell us the page URL and we will report it, but Mediavine's own ad-quality form is faster for taking an individual creative down.
• Privacy or data requests? See the privacy policy. There are no accounts and no stored lookup history, so the data we can act on is normally limited to ordinary server access logs.
• Copyright complaints: send the URL and the details of the work concerned to the address above. IPmap.info only reproduces publicly available registry and DNS data; we remove anything we are asked to remove and should not host.

What this service does

The site answers three questions: what is my IP address, where is this IP address or domain, and who does it belong to. It shows geolocation, reverse DNS and WHOIS data, and it is free and needs no registration. The data comes from the sources listed on the terms page and on the about page.
